VakilVakil — project overview

01Overview

VakilVakil connects people with lawyers: search by specialty and city, book a consultation by phone or in person, or ask a legal question and get answers from lawyers in public. I built the front end of the site's redesign — the landing page, the lawyers list, the lawyer profile with its booking and contact flows, the legal Q&A and articles, the calculators and the pages around them — alongside four other contributors on the same Nuxt codebase.

02The challenge

The directory holds more than 127,000 lawyers, and it has to work for someone who does not yet know which kind of lawyer their problem calls for. The list has to narrow fast without feeling like a form, every card has to say who can actually be booked, and all of it has to read naturally right to left, in Persian numerals, on a phone as well as a desktop.

VakilVakil — A list you can narrow

03A list you can narrow

The lawyers list shown here puts each lawyer's rank, city, specialties and starting price on one card, with a badge that separates verified lawyers from trainees and a button that books straight from the card. The filters — province, specialty, only lawyers who are active — stay in view while the results scroll beside them.

VakilVakil — Questions answered in public

04Questions answered in public

The Q&A shown here is two pages: a list filtered by area of law and sorted by newest, most answered or most viewed, and a question page where lawyers' answers sit under the question with their name and rank. Each card keeps the asker's role and the time on one line, so a row of cards lines up however long the questions run.

VakilVakil — A profile that ends in a booking

05A profile that ends in a booking

The profile shown here leads with the lawyer's rating, years of practice and specialties, and keeps the booking card beside them: phone or in-person, each with its starting price. On a phone the same booking moves into a bar pinned to the bottom of the screen, so it is never more than a thumb away.

VakilVakil — Built for the phone in your hand

06Built for the phone in your hand

The screens shown here are the landing page, the lawyers list and a question at phone width. Navigation moves to a bottom bar with search in the middle, the way an app would place it — and the site is one: installable as a PWA, and packaged for Android as a trusted web activity.
